Natalie Mayroth is a German-Iranian reporter who graduated from Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich with a Master in Cultural Studies, Iranian Studies & Sociology in 2014. She works in South Asia and Berlin for different publications like taz.die tageszeitung, Wochenzeitung, or VICE. In her writings, she focuses on subculture, media, women, and social issues. Natalie is a fellow of the Development Journalism Grant by EJC with taz 2020, the International Media Fellowship by Press Club of Hannover 2019, Media Ambassadors India-Germany scholarship 2017, and China-Germany 2016.
