Biography

Laura Salm-Reifferscheidt was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1976. She is an author and freelance print and audio journalist based in Berlin. Her work focuses on global health topics such as Ebola, drug addiction and snakebite, and social justice issues such as female feticide in India. She is the author of Bazaars of Istanbul (Thames & Hudson), Voodoo (Terra Magica) and IN/VISIBLE (Edition Lammerhuber), a book on women survivors of acid attacks.
