The Daily Telegraph (previously named, and often still referred to as, The Telegraph) is a British broadsheet newspaper, founded in 1855. It is published in London by Telegraph Media Group and distributed throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. The newspaper was founded by Arthur B. Sleigh in June 1855 and since 2004 has been owned by David and Frederick Barclay. It had a daily circulation of 523,048 in March 2014, making it one of the most popular newspapers in the United Kingdom. The online edition of The Daily Telegraph is called The Telegraph. The newspaper also has its own award-winning magazine published on Saturdays, Telegraph Magazine.
