France 24 is composed by three different TV channels which broadcast in French, English and Arabic 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is dedicated to international news and its slogan is “Liberté, Egalité, Actualité” (“Freedom, Equality, News”). It has a French approach to world affairs. With its three channels, France 24 wants to provide a unique global public service and a common editorial stance. It was launched in 2006 and today it is available is 177 countries. It is based in Paris but it also has a broad network of correspondents and 100 bureaus throughout the world.
